In the year 1992 the French company Cegelec (Cegelec Corporate) dealing with projects and implementations in the field of electrical engineering and general engineering acquired shares of the Electrical Drive and Automation Division of CKD Praha. Thus foundations were laid of further development under the Cegelec company leadership and more than 100 year tradition of electrical designing and production in CKD Praha has been resumed.
Czech subsidiary Cegelec a.s has based its economic presence on high technical quality of its products and services. Cegelec a.s. is the engineering company focused on the development, production and testing of electrical and electronical devices.
Since August 2012 Cegelec a.s. has been the subsidiary of the French company VINCI Energies.
