08 | 4 | 2010 Trolleybuses SOLARIS/Cegelec in Eberswalde
In autumn 2009 a consortium of tenderers - SOLARIS/Cegelec (Prague) - took part in the tender for the supply of 12 articulated 100% low-floor trolleybuses SOLARIS Trollino 18AC to BBG Eberswalde (Germany).
Having beaten major European competitors consortium SOLARIS/Cegelec has won the order for the realisation of this project.
The trolleybuses are fitted with traction equipment Cegelec placed in container INTEGRA 2126. Series application of energy saving system (supercaps) will be used here for the firs time in each vehicle.
In November 2010 firs passangers can take new trolleybuses. Further supplies will follow in the years 2011 and 2012.
